Cheating will result in immediate disqualification! In addition to depriving participants of the educational value of GLRC, cheating is strictly prohibited, and we employ a variety of methods to prevent it in any form. This page will give you an overview of allowed and prohibited actions throughout the rounds of the Global Logic and Reasoning Competition.

1. Qualification Round

• To copy exact solutions from someone else.
• Submitting a solution generated by AI.
• To copy solutions from the internet.

• To work in groups to find solutions.
• Discussing your approach and getting hints from a teacher, or from AI tools, to help you solve the problems yourself.
• Using books, the internet, and AI tools to look up definitions and background information.

2. Semi-Final Round

• Using more than 60 minutes for the Semi-Final Round Exam.
• Opening other browser tabs, websites, or windows during the exam.
• Using other electronic devices during the exam (not including calculators).
• Using any source of information during the exam (e.g., internet, notes, books).
• Receiving help from other people.

• Using translation apps and AI to better comprehend the research paper during preparation.
• Bringing blank papers and pens during the main exam.
• Bringing a calculator during the main exam.

3. Final Round

• Opening other browser tabs, websites, or windows during the exam.
• Using other electronic devices during the exam (including calculators!).
• Using any source of information during the exam (e.g., notes, books).
• Receiving help from any person.

• Bringing a blank paper and a pencil for notes during the exam.
